The Doubletree Hotel in San Pedro, a Hilton affiliate, is on Via Cabrillo Marina, next to the LA Yacht Club and within easy walking distance of Cabrillo Beach YC. They have offered us non smoking rooms with 2 queen beds@ $139/nt plus 14.05% tax for both team race and Nationals. If you would like to upgrade to a Marina view room, the extra cost is $25/nt and if in addition, you prefer a balcony, add another $10 for a total of $174. The hotel provides hi speed internet access @$9.95/day in your room (or there are some hot spots in the lobby for those just checking email), free parking, room service from the hotel restaurant, bar & grill, tennis courts and an outdoor heated pool. Medium size dogs of 25 lbs or less can be accomodated for $50. In order to access our contract rate, you must reserve by May 17th through Colonial Travel. This contract rate can not be accessed by booking directly with the hotel. Room requests after May 17th can be considered but only at current hotel rack rate. Teams holding more than 3 rooms should honor cancellation 14 days in advance so the hotel and I have an opportunity to resell the rooms. Individual cancellation is 5 days prior.

The Econo Lodge, sporting a new pool and all new carpeting, is again offering us a rate of $65/night Aug 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. If you desire the weekend as well, Friday & Saturday's price is $130/nt. This 50's style motel with outdoor corridors offers a continental breakfast. Rooms have two double beds and are requested non smoking. Price point is great for this modest but clean property. 72 hour cancellation. Make your reservation by July 1st.

The New Residence Inn by Marriott shares the parking lot (and an owner) with the Hampton Inn in Middletown. This non smoking property offers one bedroom and studio suites with a queen bed in the sleeping area and a pullout sofabed in the livingroom area. The one bedroom has a privacy wall and a door while the studio is one large area. Both units provide a full kitchen. The studio is $199/nt and the one bedroom is $209/nt, and I can offer that rate beinning July 31st thru check out on August 6th. The rate includes a free breakfast and Mon-Thurs there is a manager's social hour with snacks and drinks. Free parking, free internet, indoor pool and guest laundry. Pets are ok with a $100 non refundable deposit. Cancellation is 72 hours prior and you must make your reservation by July 1st.

That rate does not include breakfast, but the property does have free parking & internet, an indoor pool, and a guest coin laundry. As stated in Marriott policy, this space is designated non smoking. The Residence Inn in White Plains, about 10-12 minutes from the venue, has offered us a number of 1 bedroom units. A few have two queen beds in the separate bedroom and the others have a king bed. All have a sofa sleeper in the livingroom space plus a full kitchen. This property has NO pool, but it does offer free parking, free internet, a coin laundry and the famous Residence Inn full cooked breakfast each day. Since this is a Marriott, the property is by definition, non smoking. Cancellation is 48 hours prior. Please reserve by Aug 31st.

The Residence Inn in downtown Milwaukee is an historic property - the original Gimbels Dept Store. As such, there is no pool but there are 14 ft ceilings! This Residence Inn is within a few minutes of the venue, just over a mile. Because the Inn was not built as a hotel, the suites have different configurations. I have 15 studio (one large living space) units which have a king bed plus sleeper sofa and a full kitchen. I also have 10 of the one bedroom units - some of which have a king bed and some of which have a queen. But the bedroom in these units is separate with a privacy door. ALL units boast a full kitchen. The rate of $199/nt includes a full breakfast. This is a city Residence Inn so parking is additional at $17/nt. There is a guest coin laundry. Cancellation is 48 hrs prior. Please make your reservation by Labor Day.

This second Residence Inn has also offered us their condo style space for Midwest Champs. This additional hotel is about 15-20 minutes west of the venue in Brookfield, WI. The Inn is located on a golf course in a quiet residential section of this Milwaukee suburb. It offers free parking, free internet, a coin laundry for guests, and the typical full breakfast each morning. Pool is outdoors - we will not be swimming outside in Wisconsin in October! The layout for this recently renovated property is a bit different than the newly built Residence Inns. Some units have fireplaces and all have full kitchens, but I can offer suites with 2 double beds plus a sleeper sofa, or one king bed plus the sleeper sofa. These units are $139/nt. In addition, there are a few penthouses which have a loft with king bed and bath, and then a double bed with full bath downstairs plus the sleeper sofa in the livingroom area. This larger unit is $159/nt. Cancellation is 72 hours. Please reserve by September 4th, prior to Labor Day.

The Mutiny Hotel, a non smoking condo complex about 1/2 mile from CRYC, has extended Orange Bowl Space to us for 2009. They offer 4 different types of units. A jr suite with a queen bed, a sofabed, plus a kitchnette is $189/nt. The one bedroom unit has a king bed with sofabed and a full kitchen, and it sells for $199/nt. The one bedroom dlx has a pool/partial bay view with the same king bed plus sofabed & full kitchen for $229/nt. This unit has a washer and dryer. And there is also a two bedroom / 2 bath unit with king bed in one bedroom, twin beds in the 2nd bedroom plus the sofa sleeper in the livingroom. This unit comes complete with washer/dryer as well and the rate is $309/nt. There is currently a $17/nt parking fee and the tax rate in the Grove is now 13%. One night deposit upon making the reservation and a 14 day cancellation for no penalty. I have a contract rate, which means if you shorten your stay, you will still receive the same pricing; but I do not have a "block" of rooms which means first come, first served! Currently, I notice there is an additional 10% reduction on some units if you PAY with your American Express Card, have AAA or stay a full 7 nts! Please reserve early.
